Woody Harelson in Dubrovnik
Centuries old Dubrovnik city walls are a major
attraction for visitors

Woody Harelson and Owen Wilson have arrived to Dubrovnik for the 2nd Libertas Film Festival. Woody will also attend
the regional premiere of "A Prairie Home Companion" film by the famous Oscar winning director Robert Altman, in
which Woody also plays one of the lead roles.
"Dubrovnik is a great city and to be honest, I'm not here for
the Festival only. I was talking to my friend Owen Wilson about Dubrovnik's beauty, when he told me that he was inited to the film festival. So I thought I'll come along, too,"
commented Woody, after being one and half hour late to his interview with journalists.
Owen Wilson was also supposed to be present for interview,
but turned up really late and not in a mood to speak. He only commented that Dubrovnik is a beautiful city with
lots of pretty women.
Richard Gere to film in Zagreb

Bosnia), which will be filmed in Sarajevo, Bosnia, as well as in Zagreb, Hollywood actor Richard Gere has rented a
villa in Zagreb's suburb Remete. His only two requests were that the villa has a piano and a
The film "The Hunting Party" is a story of a journalist and
his cameraman trying to find in Bosnia and Croatia a wanted war criminal, Radovan Karadzic look alike. Both
Karadzic and Mladic are still at large and wanted by the Hague tribunal for war crimes.
The film is based on an Esquire article, Spring Break in
Bosnia, by Scott Anderson. The film stars Richard Gere, Terrence Howard, James Brolin, Diane Kruger and other
Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian actors. Radovan Karadzic look alike is played by a well known Croatian actor,
The villa in Zagreb was found for Richard by the local agency
Top Shop, who emailed him details of several properties. He settled down for a 350 square metres house, with a
large garden and backyard, that will provide him with peaceful surroundings.
Richard Gere is due to arrive to Zagreb on the 3rd September,
where he will stay for the duration of filming the movie, which is expected to be for 2 months.
After spending a few days in Zagreb initially, he will be
going to Sarajevo in Bosnia, where most of the filming will be done. After that he's coming back to Zagreb, where
he will be joined by his wife and actress Carey Lowell and his 6 year old son.
Nick Nolte in Dubrovnik

Well known American actor Nick Nolte has arrived to the city of Dubrovnik, with his son Brawley, where they plan to stay four days. They arived here
after attending Sarajevo's Film Festival in the neighbouring Bosnia.
He conducted a short interview with journalists at hotel
Palace. With almost 40 years of acting experience behind him, Nick is a walking Hollywood encyclopaedia of
anecdotes and gossip.
"Apart from one journalist, Marlon Brando was the only other
person to call me at 4 in the morning. If something came to his mind, Brando had to share it with someone, no
matter what the time," remembered Nolte.
Dubrovnik, Nick Nolte also joined his fellow actors Michael Ohoven and Owen Wilson in partying at various
clubs, including the popular Talir.
Mikhail Gorbachev in Primosten
Primosten town is one of the most popular
destinations in Croatia
23. September 2006 -- The former and the last USSR General Secretary, Mikhail Gorbachev will be celebrating
his 75th birthday and 20 years of Perestroika from the 29th September to the 1st October in Croatian coastal city
of Primosten. Located between the cities of Split and Sibenik on the Dalmatian coast,
Primosten is one of the most popular tourist destinations on Croatian coastline.
The Gorbachev celebrations will be attended by 250 guests,
many of them former and current statesmen. While the likes of Margaret Thatcher, Helmut Kohl, and George Bush, Sr.
have been invited, they're not likely to attend owing to health reasons or other commitments. In mongst those who
will be attending are Lech Walesa, Shimon Peres, James Baker, Emil Constantinescu, Roland Tumas, and Ted
